I was so excited to get Mel's mix pre-made because of all the wind we have out in New Mexico. It also took all the guess work out of how much to buy of all the ingredients. I was able to grow everything in a hurry instead of having to have help mixing up big batches of vermiculite and all the other big heavy bags. I will always shop for this mix knowing I don't have to worry about all the mixing and hard work. Thanks Mel.

I purchased a bag of this soil last summer. When I opened it, it felt rich, smelled good and earthy and was perfect for my use. I mixed it with some of my soil, just to make it go further. My plants thrived! I was so excited to get actual "stuff" to put on the table. I had never grown Romaine lettuce before and it was amazing. In Arizona, it seems we have more rock and clay than soil, but it did help that natural soil and I'm going to use it again!
