WATER WALL FROST PROTECTION FOR PLANTS

Season Starter allows you to plant weeks earlier and then harvest your tomatoes, peppers, and other heat-loving plants up to 6 weeks earlier than usual.

HOW IT WORKS:

Your tender young plant is surrounded by almost three gallons of water which protects the plant in three ways:

• It allows heat from the sun (even on a cloudy day) to be stored and released at night when the temperature falls.
• It shelters the young plant from chilling winds that can so quickly destroy it.
• Most importantly the enormous mass of water encircling the plant buffers and protects it from sub-freezing temperatures by slowing freezing before the plant even feels the cold. When water freezes, it releases 80 calories of heat per gram of water which actually keeps the plant warm when it is freezing outside.
