Q: Thank you so much for replying so quickly! I've had your book since 1987 and just plain procrastinated starting a garden, but I've always known that if I do start one, it would be strictly by your method. Also, way back before I got married and had kids, I was watching your show on Boston's PBS channel. I live in Connecticut now and I was wondering if you still run your shows? (new or reruns) A: Thanks Jon, good luck with your new garden, glad you held on to the book. No, I took the TV show off the air to retire but look at me now, busier than ever. It was on PBS for 5 years, then I retired but came back to put it on the Discovery Network and the learning channel for 3 years then retired again. There are 75 shows in all, so some day who knows maybe one of my grandchildren will revive it. In the meantime, I'm putting everything new on the web site so read it all, there is a lot of new stuff there. Happy Gardening, Mel B. |
