March News and Local Distribution

Start of The Season!

Time to start gardening.  We want your Square Foot Garden to be the best ever this year.  It will provide you with fresh, clean, safe vegetables, flowers and herbs, with no work if you do it the Square Foot Way.

Why not help your neighbors, friends, and family start their own SFG, no matter where they live.  Encourage them to go to our brand new website,  www.squarefootgardening.com, or read the book, and watch our Into to Square Foot Gardening DVD.

Garden Shop is Open!

Our garden shop now open, click here to view our garden boxes, water walls, and new drip kits, tomato trays and vinyl boxes and pyramids.

Our new website is up and some of you may have noticed it has a few glitches. We apologize for any problems you have had. Please inform us of any problems you have. We are constantly working on it to improve your experience.

We have had many people order our new Certified Teachers Kit. We are so very excited to have so many people becoming teachers. To find out how you can do this too, click here.

Local Deliveries and Classes in Utah

To help everyone in Utah to get started, we are going to activate our very popular Milk Truck run again this year along the Wasatch front.  Each week our truck will deliver, free of charge, anything you order from our website.  The truck will stop at several convenient Wal-mart Parking Lots.

Call or email your order in before noon on Friday.  Pay for it with Paypal by ordering from our website, or call and place the order over the telephone at 801-782-4559  using a Visa or MasterCard, and then check the drop off schedules so you can be at your stop when the SFG truck comes. Check our website for a new list of locations for each week.

The truck will be at each stop for 30 minutes, and then it has to move on.  If you come too late, you will still be able to pick up your order the following Monday at Jerry's Nursery in Farr West at 1410 N. 1900 W.

No exceptions, please.  We had people last year racing after the truck because they came too late.  That will cause quite a bit of confusion.

We have some exciting news! We now have have Mel's Mix, all professionally bagged, in 2 cubic foot bags, all pre-mixed and ready to plant.  In addition, we have 2 new designs for our vinyl boxes, including a vinyl pyramid.  The different  designs are called "Slim Jim" and the "Classic". There are several new products, including a drip watering system, specifically designed for SFG.

So, check out the website, go to the gardening shop link

here and order your books, videos, and gardening kits, all with free delivery.  Make sure that you mark 'local pickup' in the shipping section when ordering from the website so you are not charged for shipping.

In addition, we are going to have a big Square Foot Gardening Symposium at the Salt Palace this year on April 18th. It's going to be an all day affair with talks and workshops about many gardening subjects. Including organic vegetables, roses, lawns, water gardens, drip irrigation, and cutting  your grocery bill in half.  Watch our website for more information.

Thank you all for your continued support. This really will be the best SFG year ever!

Sincerely,
