I am an impatient cook. If I am cooking, I want it to be quick, tasty, healthy and simple. Most of these recipes fit the bill. My favorite is the Mediterranean Eggplant Salad. Most of my eggplant was going unused or given away because I didn't want it breaded or fried. Too much work and calories. This salad is delicious, easy, and loaded with nutrition. My kids love the Zucchini Parmesan Pancakes. Eat them for breakfast, lunch or dinner. One daughter eats them with ketchup. My kids don't even care that they are eating zucchini. They also love the Pumpkin Pancakes. Another favorite of mine is the Zucchini Tomato Bake. SO easy and full of flavor and nutrition. Some recipes are slightly more complicated with more ingredients such as the Asian Lettuce Wraps but they are worth it. Prepare these and people will think you are a gourmet cook. I have a shelf full of cookbooks but this is the one I use the most. It allows you to get the most use, taste and nutrition out of your square foot garden.

This book/cookbook is awesome! The recipes are amazing and all look sooo delicious! These recipes are not your same old, same old that can be found in cookbook after cookbook. Definitely a great book to add to the kitchen collection as well as a super awesome gift for a fellow gardener. :)

I'm just a novice at growing my own food. The 2nd Edition All New Square Foot Gardening showed me how to get things started, "Taking the Harvest to the Table Cookbook completes the story.
Very well written, easy to understand and highly informative. Thank you Mel Bartholomew for a wonderful guide!

When I first saw this book on this site and read it's description, I immediately knew I had to have it. Since I'm relatively new to Square Foot Gardening, shoot, even gardening in general, I knew I would value the information on when to harvest the various fruits, vegetables and herbs, the tips offered, and most importantly the recipes. This is a beautifully presented book filled with wonderful information, pictures, and recipes. Thank-you so much Mr. Bartholomew.

This book is filled with simple recipes that I can make easily. I also really appreciate the fact that it includes information about how/when to harvest the produce. I am looking forward to my crops being ready to try some of these recipes out!
